Dealva HOLSENBACK, 85, passed away in the Cherokee Nursing Home Sunday, November 1, 1970 at 10 a.m. following an extended illness. Mrs. Holsenback was one of the oldest members of the Sugar Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include one brother, B. C. HIgginbotham [should be P. C.] of Greenville, S.C. and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Holsenback were held Tuesday November 3, 1970 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Combs Funeral Home with the Rev. Blevins officiating. Pallbearers serving included Don Shumer, Ralph Brown, Arnold Grady, and M. L. Holsenback and Horton Touchstone. Burial was in the Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
